The Perpetual Pandemic: Exercising social responsibility amidst inequality, stigma
Due to an abrupt rise in COVID-19 cases over the holidays, juniors and seniors shifted to remote learning from Jan. 5 through Jan. 7. On Jan. 12, 68 students were on extended absence for COVID exposure.
On Jan. 8, students were given an option to take classes remotely for two weeks, and on the evening of Jan. 19, the administration extended that option for one more week. An additional 68 students opted out of on-campus learning.
The Review Online put together this package featuring members of the SJS community and their thoughts on the pandemic in light of these events.
