Football wins season opener against John Cooper School

Seniors, decked out in western gear, send a loud and clear message to John Cooper not to mess with the Mavericks. “Fans make the games much more enjoyable,” Co-Captain Michael Skaribas said. “They give us extra energy when we’re on the field.”
On Aug. 27, the Mavericks won the first football game of the year against John Cooper School.
