House rivalry abounds at Field Day
March 26, 2014
Bright-eyed kindergarten students and seasoned seniors alike brought house pride and mettle to this year’s annual Field Day event, March 14. For the first time, Field Day, hosted by the Student Affairs Council, brought together students of all grade levels across campus in a menagerie of games ranging from Simon Says to Dodgeball.
This year, the Winston house took first place with 268 points, leaving Taub trailing in second with 248 points. Taub, however, earned the most spirit points (90) of the houses. Chidsey followed in third with 198 points while Mulligan (176) overtook Hoodwink (173) by just three points for fourth and Claremont rounded out the day in sixth with 147 points.
