On Jan. 29, girls’ and boys’ soccer beat Episcopal 4-0 and 2-0, respectively. For the boys’ team, the win marked the end of a drought, as the Mavericks have gone winless against the Knights for the last eight years.

For the first time in Athletic Director Vince Arduini’s tenure, Maverick athletic teams won the 4A Chronicle Cup, awarded by the Houston Chronicle.
