The annual Candlelight service includes a procession of choirs, seasonal hymns, spiritual readings and performances by the St. John’s choirs and orchestras. Though the pandemic prevented an audience from attending both the fall concert and Candlelight this year, students and teachers created virtual programs in lieu of in-person services.
On Sunday, Dec. 9, hundreds of members of the St. John’s community streamed into St. John the Divine Church in order to enjoy Candlelight, an annual service marking the beginning of the holiday season.
This year's Candlelight featured performances from students, teachers, and alumnus Rohan Ramchand ('13) amid the flurry of exams and holiday excitement.
