Choral Director and Chapel Guild Faculty Co-Sponsor Scott Bonasso sent a letter to the editor about the efforts of Chapel Guild and the process for choosing speakers.
The Board agrees that with more speakers from within our community, more purposeful speeches and more effort on the part of students to engage, we can elevate Chapel from a mundane tradition to a meaningful space for thought.

Last Wednesday’s chapel featured students who participated in the School Year Abroad program (SYA) as well as a dance performance by senior Tiffany Yue.
Following an invocation delivered by seniors Fred Lang and Matthew Kreutter, sophomores Winnie Brandfield-Harvey and Hannah Curtis performed Bon Iver’s “Skinny Love.” Physics teacher Susan Bigge introduced speakers Becky and Anthony Leakey.
Student musicians took instruments and vocals to the Lowe Theater stage for the annual Music Chapel, Feb. 5, featuring performances from Les Chantdudes, Meg Bres and more. Watch a video recap here.
