Freshmen took a field trip to the Museum of Fine Arts to enrich their learning in Global Issues in Historical Context.
With storm clouds brewing behind them, students in the water compared muddy and sandy ecosystems by dragging nets through the water to examine the species that inhabited the area, including stingrays and jellyfish.

On Sept. 16, AP Biology and AP Environmental Science classes traveled to Galveston to collect marine samples and were met by Tropical Storm Imelda.

On Jan. 31 and Feb. 1, architecture, 2D and 3D Art classes took a field trip to the Houston Museum District and gained insight on artistic styles and techniques.
The students met with several doctors, who spoke to the class about their training and work.
