As part of the annual spirit week traditions, on Oct. 25, St. John’s and Kinkaid students swapped looks to engage in some friendly, competitive ribbing.
Senior John Avery Foutch roars as the Mavs score against the Knights. “Beating Episcopal was very exciting and helped set the standard for the younger players,” Foutch said, “but ultimately it’s just another stepping stone on our road to SPC.”

On Dec. 6, the girls’ basketball team, led by captains Holt and Ana Rodriguez, defeated Kinkaid 44-42 in the semifinals of the Greater Houston Tip-off Classic.
The Mavericks accrued 325 total points to their opponents’ combined 70, defeating Bishop Lynch High School, ranked no. 2 among Texas private schools, 60-15 in the finals.
