On Jan. 16, the joint Chevron Houston marathon and the Aramco half-marathon kicked off for the first time since the pandemic began. Several Maverick athletes participated.
On Dec. 16, members of the cross country team participated in the third annual Milk Mile challenge. In between each of the four laps, runners consumed one glass of whole milk, chocolate milk or eggnog while trying to a complete a mile as fast as possible.
